Seasons Greetings

Christmas is almost upon us, and I would like to thank all my new friends and visitors for spending valuable moments browsing my page. I've tried to keep true to my purpose which was to write about whatever was rattling around in my head at the time, while attempting to maintain a personal history of events as they unfurled. I hope you have found it interesting, thought provoking or even funny. All your comments have been gratefully received and read. There are some lovely people out there.

I have no idea how you intend to celebrate the approaching season, but for many it will be a time of family (and all the stress that that can bring) with the giving and receiving of presents. Please ensure that you include the gift of your love as that is the best gift of all. It is the only gift I can give you, but, my friends, when I raise my glass on Sunday, you will be in my thoughts

Have a really good, peaceful, happy and loving Christmas holiday.

God bless

Mark

Hi Mark. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Have been trying to read a bit of yours in increments. I have good friends in Cornwall who visit Lancashire occasionally. I would love to visit your country and research some family history.
Have a blessed Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year, and keep on blogging.

Greetings today is New Years Day, and I am thinking about that Stevie Wonder song of the same title. I hope you are familiar with it, and if not, find it on line. Also, another lovely song by him called Lately is quite nice.
With my son in Iraq, and my younger son tucked
safely in his bed, I write this in the morning, and I will say I have enjoyed reading your blogs, your political views are well -accepted, and your general outlook on issues and life, is very intereszting. I would raise a glass at his point, but I only have a coffee mug, to say
let us hope that the castrophic sufferings of others lessen in this new year, and that some semblance of peace be found in 2006.
Fondly, Gloria from California
